Welcome to Class 7A!

Class 7A is our Formal Pathway, where children access a structured curriculum whilst continuing to benefit from the specialist support, smaller class sizes and personalised approach that our SEND Unit offers. We encourage children to become increasingly independent learners who are confident to challenge themselves, communicate their ideas and celebrate their achievements.

Our Phoenix values are at the heart of everything we do. We nurture Kindness by developing positive relationships and encouraging children to care for one another. We promote Responsibility by helping children become increasingly independent in their learning and daily routines. We build Resilience by celebrating perseverance and encouraging children to keep trying when learning becomes challenging, while fostering Ambition by recognising that every child can achieve success from their own individual starting point.

As our SEND Unit continues its transition to a specialist SLD provision, Class 7A is expected to evolve into a more semi-formal pathway from September. This will ensure learning continues to reflect the changing needs of our children, balancing structured teaching with practical, communication-rich and personalised learning experiences.
