Educational visits and class trips are an important part of learning at Phoenix Primary School. These experiences enrich the curriculum, broaden pupils’ horizons and provide meaningful opportunities for learning beyond the classroom.

Trips support children to develop independence and responsibility, as they learn to manage themselves in new environments and follow expectations outside of school. They also encourage resilience, helping pupils to step outside their comfort zones and try new experiences. Through shared experiences, children build positive relationships, show kindness towards others and develop confidence and ambition for what they can achieve.
