Welcome to Class 7B!

Class 7B provides a flexible learning environment where children are supported through a blend of structured teaching, practical learning and communication-based activities. We recognise that every child learns differently, so learning is carefully adapted to meet individual needs and celebrate every success along the way.

Our Phoenix values are woven throughout the school day. We encourage Kindness through teamwork, friendship and celebrating one another's achievements. We develop Responsibility by supporting children to make choices, communicate their needs and become increasingly independent. Resilience is nurtured through carefully scaffolded learning and opportunities to persevere, while Ambition is encouraged by celebrating every step of progress and helping children believe in what they can achieve.

As our cohort develops, Class 7B will begin the new academic year using a largely informal approach, ensuring children have the time, support and opportunities they need to develop communication, engagement and readiness for learning before gradually introducing more semi-formal learning experiences.

We are excited to support every child as they continue to grow in confidence, independence and curiosity.
