Remembrance Day
Year one have been learning about the war and how it affected peoples lives. We learnt the song 'We'll meet again', and decided to pay tribute to all of the people who were affected by the war. We hope you enjoy our tribute! #Lestweforget

Art- weaving

This term we have been looking at weaving in our art topic. We first practised by making caterpillars using paper, then we have practised with different materials each week. We have now started making our woven tree's using paper plates, cotton and our weaving technique.

PSHE - emotions

In PSHE this term the children have been learning about understanding emotions and the different feelings that we might have when we feel this emotion. The children made faces with playdough to describe different emotions that we feel.

Outdoor maths

The children have been enjoying opportunities to take our learning outdoors. We love practising what we have learnt in the classroom outside. We have practised number formation and ordering, grouping and measuring.
