Key-Stage 2 Science workshop for parents: Tuesday 6th March 2019.

 

smileyWe held a parents workshop on Tuesday 5th 2019. We had a great turn out and some positive feedback from all parents. We explored our website and discussed what science topics are taught at Phoenix. 

Parents, Mrs Evans and Mrs Wright discussed what science meant to them.

 

smiley Parents had a go at lots of investigations that are used in key stage 2 science lessons. 

 

smileyWe discussed the importance of science vocabulary and parent received a set of vocab cards for their child's year group.

 

smiley Parents were given a list of science websites, "ways to help your children with science" activity and a practical activity to carry out with their child.
