Phoenix Primary School ‘Where We Rise to the Challenge’

Aspiratons

At Phoenix we have high expectations and aspirations for all our children.

During science week Mrs Irwin took some children to a local secondary school St Francis Xavier to take part in high order thinking science lessons.  The lessons were delivered by Mr Irwin.  The children really enjoyed them.

Dean said, "It was awesome! We made a rainbow."

Faisal said, "I would like to do some more science work when I go to University. I am moving back to Saudi Arabia but I want to come back to Liverpool to do my studies when I am older."

Thank you Mr Irwin and all the staff who arranged for the children to visit.

Children were encouraged to talk about their dreams for their future and the jobs they would like.  Working with the local church, children made a dreamcoat of all their aspirations.
