Phoenix Primary School ‘Where We Rise to the Challenge’

Children's Work

We have been looking at the differences and similarities between our class text “Chinye” and Cinderella.

7.1.20 our first lesson with MGL and we’re learning how to use the Sphero. A very exciting lesson!

6.1.20 We have been working on our fine motor skills today, this one minute feather challenge is trickier than it looks!

Board games day in Class 7 today. You can’t beat a good board game, so much learning to be done whilst having fun!!

Our favourite P4C question of the term has been:

“If you had magic and lost it, would that be better or worse than never having magic at all?”

This was linked to our Sparkles and spells poetry week.

We have been writing our New Year’s resolutions in class today.

Mr. Godfrey’s group wrote a Minecraft version on little red riding hood.

Brian’s story mountain has helped him to compare our class text to other traditional tales.

In Autumn 2 we have been looking at multiplication and division in Maths. We learnt that drawing groups or arrays help us to understand the question.

Joseph explained to us what the difference was between the Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic eras in the Stone Age.

Wow, look at this work inspired by “Voices in the Park”

Charley wrote a beautiful letter to the Rainbow fish.

Look at our Stickman cartoons!

In September and October we have all worked hard on our addition.

25.09.19 We enjoyed working together to create our large Stickman cartoon.
