Phoenix Primary School ‘Where We Rise to the Challenge’
Our Journey
At Phoenix we have many children who were born in a variety of countries. We have over 26 nationalities represented and 21 different languages spoken. All our children are very proud of their heritage. We celebrate all our heritage in our display:
World Wise Community
The children have enjoyed telling us about where they were born and some details about their home country and the language they speak.
The children have been talking honestly and openly about the reasons why they had to leave their homes and the journey they had to take. We are extremely proud of them.
Some of the children have asked if they can tell their story.
