We will be adding lots of photographs and information about our learning in Nursery. Please check for our weekly newsletter every Friday and keep up to date with all of the exciting things we will be doing in FS1.
Our Nursery sessions:
Morning 8.45 - 11.45
Please support your child's learning by:
- Helping them complete their learning story sheets each week and returning them on Tuesday.
- Sharing stories with your child and encouraging them to retell favourite ones.
- Play games such as 'eye spy' to encourage identification of initial sounds.
- Encouraging your child to count. 'How many plates do we need for dinner?', 'what is one more?' etc.
If your child shows a particular interest in a topic, please let us know so we can follow it up in Nursery. Our post it notes are also available for you to write any comments about your child's learning or achievement of significant milestones. These can then be included in their learning stories.

Mud, mud glorious mud!
We had a wonderful 'Mud Day'. Thank you to everyone who came. The children enjoyed exploring different textures, making mud pies, having a mud cafe, making mud prints and generally rolling, splashing and jumping in the mud. It was great fun!
